Sage Training
Sage Accounts is one of the most popular accounts bookkeeping software packages in the UK. Due to its popularity, most staff who have had any involvement in accounts or bookkeeping in previous jobs will probably have come into contact with Sage Accounts, Sage Line 50 or Sage Instant.
There is a huge gulf between "I've come into contact with it" to "I'm an expert in it" - but when it comes to CV's and Job Interviews, this gulf is sometimes turned into a river, then a stream, then a trickle. Now you are confident your accounts bookkeeping is going to be taken care of by your new employee who is an expert in Sage. However, if they provide false information, telling you that your business is a success whilst its slowly failing whilst still totally salvagable, who is going to lose their business? There are even self-employed "Sage Experts" who are more experts in talking the talk than walking the walk.

Does my bookkeeper need any Sage Training? Maybe, or maybe not. Perhaps they have even been taught in the past. However, it's a very simple question to find the answer to by running through the following checklist.
- Can I find out the true balance in my bank account within a few minutes just by asking my bookkeeper (after all outstanding cheques and pay ins have cleared)?
- Do I know how much money I am owed at the press of a button?
- Do I know how much money I owe out at the press of a button?
- Is my VAT return compiled and produced, with all supporting documentation, accurately and with minimum fuss and time involvement?
- Am I provided with accurate management accounts information when I ask for it?
- Am I presented with a small invoice from my accountant, together with a thank you for how easy my accounts and tax return were to complete last year?
If you can answer YES to all of the above questions, then perhaps your accounts bookkeeper does not need our help or any Sage Training. However, if the answer to any of the above was NO, then New Business Services can help.
